    neighbor down the road has one for sale.

    3000 v6
    t-top
    auto


    bad
    200k miles
    interior is tore up
    entire left side needs new panels
    new paint is needed
    tires


    but they said they would take $500 for it. it runs and drives.

    its either the 300 or save for a gto. that i want really bad.

    take it, rip out the motor (DE/T/TT?), pop it into a S30 rolling chassis.

    $500 is a steal. I'm sure with some work and a nice paint job you can turn her into a real nice car. Then again, I don't know much about the 1st gen 300zxs so I didn't take all the reliability problems into account. It's def. a cool car, though.

    not worth it unless you're turning it into a straight up track car and not fixing the dam.

    but its still not worth it since thats not an ideal platform for that either

    Lets be honest, the Z31 doesn't look very good compared to other Zs, and the VG30e is pretty anemic. I don't see any redeeming thing about that car (other than the price, maybe)
