i have an 85 crx sitting in my garage my dad gave me and was thinking of doing a d16 si swap in it. what would i need to do this? just the engine, or would i need new motor mounts too? would i need anything else because the original engine is carbed and the d16 is injected?

If you are talking about the same generation (ie: 85-97) Si, then the motor is a D15a3.. Not a d16. You can get the d16a1 out of an 86-89 Integra that will bolt right in and give you a little more power (DOHC). There are some wiring issues with the 88-89 Integra, but the 86-87 is a direct drop in for the 84-87 CRX. That being said, you will need a wiring harness since your current motor is Carb'd, and you'll need a fuel pump... Basically, you'll need everything for the Integra. Hit me up if you have any more questions.

if i got a d16 would i need a stock integra wiring harness or some aftermarket one? is it hard to get a fuel pump mounted onto that car?
