Macho T/A's are pretty cool too.

Legitimate low to mid 14 car at around 97-98 mph. Not bad for a smog motor with headers, tweaked Q-jet, quicker timing advance and a fucktional hood scoop.

"not bad" for a Honda Civic with a 1.6L 4cyl either.

Show me one with the original engine and just a header and maybe a tune that runs that.

My '74 Z/28 was pretty quick. L82 350, factory rated at 245 hp and 280 lb-ft of torque, it had Hooker headers, 2.5" exhaust with a crossover and Sonic Turbo mufflers with dumps at the axle, Edelbrock RPM Peformer intake with a 3310 Holley, M-21 4 speed with 3.73s and factory posi.

Exactly. You could dump a fucking ton into anything and it'll run fast. Point being, it was stupid fast back in its day, and it's still reasonably quick now.

yeah a whopping 6 lbs of boost on a draw through setup, on a smog 350....i'd be surprised if it got 175 to the ground srsly...I saw a one of the Turbo T/A's run a 17 sec 1/4 mile a couple years back:rofl:

I took the 00 civic si to the track once when my street/strip car was down back in the day. DA was shitty (August night in Texas, over 90*) but it took me all night just to break into the 15's. There were plenty of other new Si'-s out there with mods running 16's all night.

Maybe a K20 swapped car could do that or a stripped out hatch with a GSR swap, but nothing with a stock 1.6 is getting close to that
