    Here is my car, at least how it looked this summer;

    350, powerglide, manual steering, manual 4-wheel drums, flowmaster 2.5'' exhaust, new body work + paint.

    New engine includes;

    -new 2 piece main 350 block from GM

    -Cast-steel crank

    -10.4:1 forged pistons

    -Summit Stage-II Rods

    -Vortec heads w/ valve spring upgrade

    -Comp Cam's magnum 280 cam. .480 lift, 230duration @50 110 seperation

    -RPM Air-gap Intake (vortec)

    -670cfm holley street avenger carb

    -dynomax cerami-coat headers

    -comp cams hardened pushrods

    -Milodon kickout pan&windage tray.


    Also this winter Im hoping to rebuild the front suspension and do the tall-spindle disc brake swap.

    why such a small lift? i dont know older body chevies that well.. but the duration of the cam sounds nice.. but only .480 lift? why not pump that up to like a 520 or so

    Any higher lift shows a loss in power. Thats the cam that comp cam recommended for maximum power. when i plugged it into the dyno program it confirmed it.
