I didn't know if the build of the taurus was different from the other brands. :o

What's a good price on a new and used one? :o

the pt1911b is a good gun. it used to be priced accordingly, and was packed with features. most jackass dealers started jacking up prices when they started selling quickly. about 550 is walk in dealer price, about 500 used online. i wouldnt pay more then 475 after tax for one.

10-22 is the Honda Civic of guns. Dependable but no one gets excited about it. Plus people love to Mod it, new stock, new barrel, etc.

ahh, never shot a .22, and dont really have a desire to... but with cheap ammo costs, i might get one later.

I'd say the civic and Glock are pretty similar ... just change the oil occasionally and they run forever.

while a civic is nothing to brag about, it's far from a piece of shit.

no arguement there. why argue a riced civic vs a stock glock?

i dunno. thats why i said i wanted to call the glock a civic, but people dont rice it out like they do civics.

Parkerize guns have a grayish/black color. When u feel one, they feel a little rough/bumpy. True blue guns have a polish like finish. When you feel the gun, it's smooth unlike the parkerize.

Have you ever seen or felt a Springfield MilSpec or Springfield GI? Those guns have a parkerize finish. Colt handguns and some of the upscale Springfield's come in a blue finish.

I have but I guess I've never paid attention to the difference in finish. Blue ftw, though. :o
