Which handgun would you recommend I get first when I hit 21? obviously both are going to be .45, the 1911 would be a Springfield Loaded.

    Oh, and:

Congratulations on the job. Allow me to suggest the P220 I like my 1911 but my 220 sees more use.

Sigs are a no go for me. The way I hold pistols causes my thumb to ride the slide release, which means maybe 50% of the time it won't lock open on an empty mag.

Unless the 220 has it in a completely different spot, that is.

Either could be a decent choice. I still scream Dan Wesson for a 1911 though.

There's a GREAT deal on a semi-custom CZ97 right now.... I've staved off buying it for a while, but I just don't know if I'm that strong. If interested, catch it before the weekend, as I'll be drinking and I'm known to make rash gun decisions at such times.

This weekend is when I hit 21, and I still have to actually get the money before I buy it :mamoru::wtc:

This is twice now that I've tried hooking you up with killer deals on CZ's.

You need to hurry up and stop being such a broke-ass fetus.;)

yah we have those, but I'd REALLY rather not go that route. It's contract work as well, so I'm going to be paid upon completion.

    - Conversion to SA with Mike Eagleshield (CZ factory 'smith) action job
    - CZ comp. rear sight
    - CZ steel trigger 2-way adjustable
    - Non faggotry grips, comes with custom full-checker rosewoods

I'm thinking about trying to steal it for the $3xx range.

I really don't need it. Could buy it and likely flip it for some money, but I dunno.

I'm not a huge pistol guy, and honestly have more than I shoot already. I'd much rather complete the projects I have at the moment. If I was going to buy something new, I'd rather it be another '75SA, or something with a comp and a dot (I've never had one before). This would likely get shot a couple times, and find itself stuck in the safe, which is a terrible fate for a cool gun. I keep thinking about buying it, because my friends are always looking for cool guns on the cheap, and I like hooking them up if I can - That's probably the only thing that would happen with it.

    Know what I mean?

No, I hear ya' loud and clear.

I was going to buy a new Limited STI last month. Then I thought, wait, I still need some things for my Open gun and I haven't even shot that yet.

So in an effort to thwart any attempts of those evil voices in my head, I bought the GSG and $400 worth of gear for the open gun.

I just want to see other people get new guns, lol.
