http://www.wsbtv.com/news/16678927/detail.html?rss=atl&psp=news UNION CITY, Ga. -- A 16-year-old home invasion suspect is recovering from gunshot wounds after a Union City man said the teen kicked in the back door of his townhome Saturday.The 28-year-old homeowner said the teen rang the doorbell, but when no one answered, the suspect went around to the back of the townhouse. Police said the resident got his gun and shot the teen in the shoulder after the suspect kicked in the back door and entered the home. Police said the homeowner then chased the suspect through a nearby wooded area. “I heard five or six shots repeatedly and then my neighbor never came back out of the woods. I was terrified,” said one neighbor, who didn't want to be identified.Union City police officers found the teen in front of the new subdivision, located in the 6200 block of Flat Trace in south Fulton County. The teen suspect was transported to an area hospital by Fulton County Fire Rescue.Police said the homeowner could be charged, unless the shooting is considered justified. Police said they are waiting to hear from the district attorney’s office.
