So I was optioning out a Dell Server (no I wasn't going to get one, just as a comparison for the powers that be), and they have an option to eliminate the 16GB OS Partition limit. WTF? Are they referring to the Exchange DB limit or something else?

limitations of a 32-bit filesystem/OS... No single file can exceed that size.

I believe dell is referring to a protected 16gig partition for the OS/Utilities or unpartitioned/fully partitioned.

unless it's a craptastic dell policy for a restore partition, as mentioned by BSRDR (I wouldn't put it past dell) then it could be a marketing snafu... Afterall, Dell techs are already the worst on the planet... and it's a universal truth that your marketing department has to know LESS than the techs. (hard to believe that's possible, in dell's case... but it's true)
