I know there are probably a million other threads like this, but I have about $1500 to invest in a new television in the next couple months, and I was wondering what your guys advice would be. Picture quality is really important to me, so I would definatly go for a smaller screen size if its higer quality (but im not buying a 17 sony LCD.. lol). It's basically going to be the centerpeice for my buget Home Theatre project that I am starting to peice together in my loft.

Just for starters, here is a set that I have been eyeing for quite some time now: Sony KV-30HS510

    Any help is appriciated.

BTW: The room is approx '18x'13 if it matters.

why would you want to get a non widescreen tv now? for $1500, you can get a lot. if you want that size, that's a really good choice. although, there is the better looking and better quality panasonic ct34wx53 for around the same price. if you live anywhere i can ship it to, i'll get you a deal on one. i'm leaving the company that i'm working for shortly so i really don't care about discounts right now. pm me if you want...
