in my exp its hit or miss with fisters. We've had 3 booted for drugs, 1 went fucking insane and beat up the e-7 in charge of finance because they were closed again(he was an e5) and another one decided he was going to quit because he didnt like us making fun of him. Im ready for deployment to be over

Also, they said with my asvab score and the jobs that are available to me at the moment, there arent any sign on bonuses. That was going to be a big plus for me, but not necessary. Any other input?

:wavey: 13F here. Its all luck of the draw, dude. I know guys that went to AIT with me who are in line units, doing cool FIST shit, and alot of others like me who are stuck at brigade in the TOC. Its all hooah hooah until you get to your unit. Low promotion points ftw though. now go learn your 6 elements of call for fire, and then your 15 sub-elements. It'll save you from getting smoked in AIT and at your unit :Ownedd:

 Don't worry about Ft. Chill. Phones every Sunday, lax as fuck. AIT was hell though, only because my class was full of morons . The hardest part was reception, honestly.

I was a 13F. Did basic and AIT at Sill as well. 1/40th for basic and 2/80 for AIT. Watch out for the senior drill sgt's though. Mine was about 5'4" and had a huge little man complex. He was an airborne ranger though. Another was previous special forces. Don't know why in the hell either would want to be drill sgt's. The road marches are going to suck and BRM is going to be colder than shit but you'll have fun. I did.

Hell yeah, just got a 96% on the FIST certification test skill level 1 and 2.

  18. Just graduated basic at Ft. Sill, where you'll go for 13F AIT. I highly recommend against it just because Oklahoma BLOWS :hs: I'm at the airport leaving it right now and I'll never come back here ever!

why don't you just retake it? you can take it again in 30 days.

probably be worth the wait if bonuses and a wide selection of mos is what you were aiming for.

i just took mine two weeks ago, but i'm going to ocs so it's not as relevant as it is to you.

I took it over a year ago with the Navy. It was September of 2008 to be exact. They told me I couldnt take it again until I got to where I was stationed.

I don't know much about the military yet, but that doesn't sound right.

You have three lifetime chances to take the test, I believe: (1) your initial, (2) 30 days from that initial, (3) 1 year from the 2nd chance.

Someone more knowledgeable could probably correct me, but that's what i was told by my recruiter.

30 days after the intial, and then 6 months after that, until you are happy with your score.
