its actually really nice... i wish it was not painted and was the same finish as the PowerBook, but its close enough. Its MUCH more solid than I thought, I feel very comfortable carrying the laptop around with it... not to mention its a good stand for the laptop..

That ruins the look of the book. I would appreciate the book much better without it.

It uses 4 holes that are already there, and they supply you 4 longer screws and a screwdriver to put it on. The more I use it, the more I like it... if you dont like its looks -- thats fine, but it works very well... I have always hated holding the laptop with one hand because I feel like I'm putting alot of pressure on the screen. This is just a much more secure way to hold it when you want to walk around with it alot.

This is for carrying it around in the office, going to meetings, maybe when im at conventions, etc... I obviously still have a good bag for it when I am leaving the office, traveling, etc.
