10x3 Question

    hey fellas,

    for those of you who've done the 10x3 (from chad waterbury), were you able to complete the full 10x3 on the first try? I tried it with squats today with a 90 sec rest and was only able to do 9 sets, the last of which was only 2 reps. I did it with 80% of my max. I was just wondering what your experience was...

    Chad recommends that you be almost to failure on the last rep, so it sounds like you are doing what he wants you to.

    After doing 10x3 on deadlifts for awhile, I can 10x3 more than 80% of my 1RM


    My 1RM is 340 (80% is 272), but I've done 10x3 with 295. If my back ever heals up I'm gonna maxc out again to see if its gone up.

    Also my bench 1RM is 210, but I've done 180 for 10x3. But most of the time lately I'm right at 170-175. You will be stronger some days than others...
