APF Florida Ironman Push/Pull was today.

    Bench went:
    Single Ply F6
    485x1
    501x1 - huuugggeee PR

    Metal Viking:
    545x0 No Touch

I was a fucking idiot and switched into the Metal, I was so convinced I had to get my name of the board that I ignored how pimped my F6 was and how easy the 501 felt. I had another 20-30lbs in me with the F6

    Pulls went:
    545x1
    585x1 - PR
    600x0 - lost grip

Two things went wrong on the 600, I should have been able to lock it out. 1) I pulled on the balls of my feet (apparently) Charlie said my heels came up. 2) There was no more chalk left, just some leftovers at the bottom of the chalk box, so I lost my grip

All in all it was a great day, finally joined the 500 club, saw some big lifts, and had a good time

    Damn, looking strong man.

It almost seemed like you pressed before the command on that 485.

You had that 600 though. That sucks that it was a chalk issue.

it was just a really fast press command. Ed (the head judge) is one of my training partners and is very hard on me when it comes to training, he wouldnt let that shit slide. (and the sound is a little out of synch with the video)

Kick ass on the bench man, you've been deserving that 500 for a while now :p

Now I'm gonna have to pull 600+ and add about 50lbs to my bench.

I've only had 2 sessions in it. Ed had one in it before he gave it to me.

I'm good for low-mid 6's in it for sure, just gotta start hammering my triceps

didnt use anything for the pull, so thats self explanatory

bench, I don't do max effort full range work - but I use different variations in the 400's for board work - depends on the board
