i got a 1022 and a while ago i got a scope mounted it was like 50 bucks that alot of people here got. But i can't site it in correctly. It shoots low. No matter how much i adjust it up it still shoots in the same place. Is this the scope? Should i just buy a nice one?

check them of course but a bad scope isn't unheard of from any manufacturer. :dunno:

    What barrel are you using?

A lot of times the way the barrel mounts onto the receiver, the receiver will push the barrel down with the dovetail mount. This will cause your scope to run out of vertical elevation. Loosen the takedown screw and take the stock off. Then loosen the barrel and take that off. Now reinsert it into the receiver without putting on the two bolts. How is it the fit? Can you wiggle the barrel when its inserted?

I suggest doing this because this problem is notorious with the 10/22

Sounds like a case of barrel droop.

Also 10/22's are notoriious for haveing a camel hump on top of the receiver. Mine does the same thing but I ordered a new barrel and stock that will be here tomarrow hopefully so I just shimmed the rear of my scope to bring in the POA with the POI

you will need to use a straight edge to see if your receiver has said camel hump.
