Cabela's say they've got it in stock and that's a damn good price. 55gr is out of stock though.
How's that 62gr for a 1/9 twist 16" barrel? Probably going to be alright I would assume... but since I don't know shit about shit when it comes to AR's right now, I figured I'd ask first.

69gr should be the limit to 1/9 twist so you're good shooting 62gr

Werd. Yeah it's Wolf. Not my first choice, but I'm going to jump on it anyway.
I need ammo and it's getting harder to find the stuff, and especially at that price.

I guess 1-2 weeks to ship really isn't that bad. Unless they don't get anymore in for awhile.

Dont believe them, if theres a store nearby just go to the store. Before obama madness I ordered some agulia high velocity 22lr said it was backordered 1-2weeks after 2months still didnt get it. Went to the store and they had a whole shelf full of it.

I think online orders get last priority, plus you still have to pay tax and shipping

  13. Other than requiring a good cleaning (especially the chamber) after shooting Wolf, what's the problem with it?

  19. The first link shows the only real problem to be the gas sealing issue. That's why I pointed out that one should pay special attention to cleaning the chamber after shooting it.

The second link is nothing more than some people complaining about general problems, something that you can find for any ammo brand.

The third link is a hodgepodge of people with all sorts of guns, that's not related to ARs. And half of them are saying that they don't have any problems at all anyways.

Even if you have a few rounds that don't fire, the cost savings with Wolf for plinking is more than enough to offset that.

With the exception of bolt rifles that have been re-barreled (with non SAAMI chambers), I doubt there are very many of my personal guns that Wolf hasn't been ran through.

It's dirty, not held to the highest consistency, and usually requires a little more cleaning of semi-autos. It also shoots, and is cheap; what's the problem? I buy ammo to shoot, not to just have it sitting around for internet pictures. If the cheaper cost of Wolf allows me more range time, I'm all about it and will take the trade-off anyday.

As for the "steel case" myths, I think they are just that - myths. I've never had any problems/damage with an extractor or anything (you are an idiot if you think the steel case itself is harder than a tool steel extractor), and personally would be pissed if a GP blaster wouldn't run with the shit.

first amount is the percentage of people WITHOUT problems, percentage of people with MINOR problems, percentage of people who won't use it.

    19) 154 responses (76.0% / 15.6% / 8.4%) WOLF (Military Classic)
    21) 2205 responses (76.7% / 13.9% / 9.2%) WOLF (Polymer Coating)
    29) 209 responses (66.0% / 6.7% / 27.3%) WOLF (Lacquer coating) (ARCHIVED)

    FUCK missed my 29,000th post

  25. I'm not really concerned with what a bunch of people on the internet think. What is the reason that those people won't shoot it? Without context, the numbers are meaningless. If they won't shoot it simply because of things they've heard on the internet then how do we know that? The fact is that it shoots fine in any gun that doesn't have problems. There's no reason why a properly functioning rifle can't shoot Wolf. Like phrozen said, if it cycles and is cheap, then what's the problem with using it for plinking? If 5% of it failed to fire (a number I'm making up for illustration purposes) and you literally threw 5% of all your Wolf away, it would still be more cost-effective for plinking than more expensive ammo. I wouldn't want to rely on it in battle, but for shooting at soda cans it's fine.
