I ordered a set of 100% cotton BDUs from a well known manufacturer.
I am curious to try them out to see how well they do vs regular 50/50 NY/CO sets.
The colors look bold, but I've heard they can fade fast. I do my own washing, drying, and ironing without starch, so I think I can keep from ruining them.

Anyone ever had a set? if so, what was the good, bad, and ugly?

try using a detergent made specifically for dark colors to try and prevent fading.

I got 2 sets, they're real comfortable and breathe real well. I loved them when I was in Kadena and in hot weather. I used to wear coveralls at work and alot of times I would have rather worn my bdus than my coveralls.

I don't know when we will get them. The military clothing at Keesler is very limited right now, so I could see us only getting a few... ...pants, and no shirts.
