Does anyone eat those 100 calorie packs? I have been eating them for a while, b/c I think they're great when I want a snack but can't rely on myself to not eat a whole bag of something. Saw that Hostess just came out with their own 100 calorie packs - they have three little cupcakes in a pack and it's 100 calories. Tried them out the other day - they're actually really good, and I think they're perfect when I need a chocolate fix!! Anyone else tried theM?

i thought you were going to say to portion off a 100 calorie section of a pop tart for maximum nutrition

If you remember they're still treats and you fit them into your calories for the day, go for it.

Personally all the ones I've tried taste like shit, so I'll just go with some good dark chocolate that I weigh out.

And yes- honestly, I'm happy they're coming out with these because it'll hopefully teach more people about portion control.

anyways.... To the OP: They are still bad 100 calories. Typically all sugar. If you want a 100 calorie snack, eat an apple at least. Not refined sugar snacks..

I agree there, but a 100 calorie ho-ho is not accomplishing much

I'd rather see someone learn how to manage their diet, watch their calories, and learn to control portions than go all OMGS SUGAR KILLS for a week until they end up binging from deprivation. That's all :)

Agreed. I think it's a great option if you have a sweet tooth but don't want to go on a chocolate binge and want to keep your portions small and your treat just that - a treat. Of course it's always good to eat fruits, etc. but it's great for me b/c it lets me control my portions and get some chocolate in every now and then :)

Also...I agree that some of the 100 calorie packs taste like salted or sweetened cardboard...these are actually really good - taste just like the originals.

Binging due to cravings is for weaklings.

I eat those things all the time. I take them in my lunch for work. I sandwich, a yogurt, and a pack of those is pretty good.
