obviously need to find some rings, but for now, that would do it.. any suggestions or anything I could change to make it cheaper like maybe a less expensive barrel? and prolly need a bipod too?

i wont be ordering for a while. i think it works the same way if you're an FFL holder or something.

go to your local gun shop and see if they can order through brownells for you and use the discount :dunno:

    example of discounts:

original barrel price: $109, i get it for $88
    stock: $89, i get it for $59
trigger pack: $120, i get it for $100
scope base: $16, i get it for $14

if you have a brownells catalog you can see the discount. the item number is like HG54yh30 (or similar) that means the discounted price is $54.30

Honestly would I noticed any difference if Ijust went with a prepackaged stock barrel combo?
I am getting the scope anyway.. seems like the combo might be cheaper... its the cheap ass in my coming out

snag a bolt buffer while you're at it, gets rid of that annoying clang for like $5

I was gonna do a Hogue stock, then I saw the other one (twice the price). I cant decide on the barell, my reciever is already tapped for scope, I have the the rail, just need rings.

which barrel should I do? The Carbon Fiber one looked sweet, and a fluted green mountain would be nice.

It's really easy, you actually have to take out the bolt buffer to field strip the rifle, since it holds in the bolt.

Not sure, one of the dealers on an Oregon forum posted them.

I saved them because I have no monies now but I could use a few things from Brownell's when I get my tax return back.

. piss easy, prolly the most economical and useful mods, it eliminates the metal on metal contact which could be bad seeing as metal on metal clanking around usually is

I hate being cheap, I have wanted a nice 10/22 with a target barrel, now I have the money and then some and I am trying to "pull the trigger"

I wasnt able to find a gm barrel that anyone would actually want last week when I was looking. I went with a tactical innovations barrel instead. Havent shot it yet but in the looks department it kills my ss gm barrel. :mamoru:

Rimfire sports seems to be the cheapest on the GM barrels, I am gonna wait and see if they get that carbon fiber/Stainless one back in :naughty:
