While replacing the stock on my 10/22, the pin that holds the magazine release and auto bolt release fell out. I didn't realize it till I had gone to the range, fired off ten rounds, and tried to eject the mag. :uh:

Good thing I brought another gun to shoot... my jammomatic 9mm AR. :crying:

Just checked the Ruger site. The parts diagram says I need two magazine latch pivot and ejector pins. I don't remember two going in that hole? Can anyone else confirm this?

Guess I'll give that a try tomorrow.

I fixed the problem sort of. I found this pin in my AR lower parts replacement kit that fits in the channel. Hopefully, it's strong enough.

Is it the reciever pin? Those are notorious for being awful. Weaponkraft makes a decent replacement.
