for those of you who own a ruger 10/22 with a scope, i want to know what brand do you guys have and your zoom specs. or what scope do you wish you would or want to buy. i am currently thinking about mounting a scope after getting first rabbit kill. :coolugh:

I was like, "What's the cheapest scope you have"

$30 later I had a scope on my rifle... No adjustable zoom but gets the job done. I think it's a Simmons. I really have no clue. lol

I dont have a 10/22 yet, but I've been browsing rimfirecentral for a while and from what I've seen the top recommendations are:
    Simmons 22 or 44 Mag
    Nikon Prostaff or Buckmaster
    Bushnell 4200
So when I do get a 10/22 those will probably be the first ones I check out.

    if you're just putting it on a .22 get a 3200 over a 4200, much cheaper.

i've got a red dot on it now, but before i had a simmons 3x9x40. cheap and effective. I had see through mounts and the factory barrel, worked pretty good, and i'm thinking about going back to it instead of the shitty bsa red dot

I put a cheap Tasco on my daughter's 10/22. It works fine. It hasn't needed to be rezeroed yet. Heck she's only 10, and can barely hold it up. I figured I'd wait until she can support a heavy barrel before I bought her a more expensive "cheap" scope. :)

my barska scope is awesome, and they're only 60 bucks for 6.5-20x50mm w/ adjustable objective. the target dot is really cool too. holds zero as well as an expensive scope, and it's clear as a bell.

I have some russian 3-9x50mm illuminated reticle on mine. Barely fits with regular rings. But works great and the illuminated reticle really kicks ass.

The cheapest 4200 was only $325 though they've went up :hsugh: I have a 3200 3-9x40 on my muzzleloader, I think it was $160 off ebay.
