Well I know I have said before that I have been making a good amount of gains from the advice off this forum and I am here to at least show you what I've earned over the course of the last year. (I have only been squatting and dead lifting for the past 5 months)

    edit: I'm 6'5'' btw

    edit2: - Supplements used -
    Whey Protein (ON Chocolate)
    Multi-Vitamin

    - Routine -
The Modified Bill Star (AKA Christophers) - 2 months now

My before numbers @ 168 lbs:

    Bench: 165 (poor form)
    Deadlift: 225 (sumo)
    Squat: 185 (not even parallel)

My current numbers are as follows:

Bench: 250 (touching the chest) probably 260 now
    Deadlift: 405 (conventional)
    Squat: 305 (ATG)

    And now for the pics...

Before @ 168 lbs. (this is not my room btw)

    Now @ 248.6 lbs.

Thanks again for all the advice, I think the gains I've made in the last 5 months are much better than the gains I made at the beginning of my bulk. I am cutting now and hope to lean up quite a bit.

I think it has a lot to do with my height and how anorexic I looked.

80 lbs. on a someone 5'7'' would look a lot different.

but yes, 1 year ago I decided I was done with being skinny tall kid.

Your back looks insane. Nice progress. I'm 6'5" as well currently at about 215lbs. I was thinking about cutting but after seeing this thread I think I might go for 250. :eek3: I'll post pics tomorrow.

I thought I was going to be satisfied with 200 lbs at the beginning of my bulk but I wasn't, so I just kept going. But now I'm starting to see some fat so I think I should cut that back until I start bulking again.

Thanks! I have busted my ass in the gym as well as in the kitchen. I think the best things I've learned from this forum is squats, dead lifts, and eating right.

Thanks, and I'm guessing you see comparison in my physical features between my before and after pics. But anyways, that was definately me and I'll never get that small again. Ya I hope my cut goes well. I'm taking my cut very slow at the moment, mainly just maintaining and starting to get into some cardio (elliptical and inclined walking).

    :bigthumb:

Wow, thank you all for the compliments.

I would have to say neither. I never really calculated my meals because my diet varied throughout my bulk. I usually ate pretty clean and just kept my eye on the scale. If I was gaining too much I would back down and if I wasn't gaining enough of losing weight I would up the intake.

my diet as of the end of my bulk:

    3:30am - protein shake

6:00am - 2 servings of oatmeal w/ milk and peanut butter & jelly sandwich.

9:00am - protein shake, ham/turkey sandwich (1/3 lb of meat), granola bar, yogurt

12:00pm - chicken breast, vegetable, bag of minute rice (2 servings)

3:00pm - protein shake, granola bar, banana

4:45pm - (Pre Workout) two rice cakes w/ peanut butter

6:00pm - two sandwiches (total of 2/3lb of lunch meat), banana, protein shake w/ milk.

9:00pm - 8 hard boiled eggs, can of tuna, cottage cheese

not sure what the calories are but I'm guessing in the 5,000.
