1 week break

    well i stopped working out b.c i hurt my shoulder about a week ago, figures it was on my goal of benching 225lb i got it up but hurt the shoulder and it feels much better now so i think im going to start back up light until its 100% better

    Yeah after taking a break your bench might be even higher than that

    well my shoulder was shot i couldnt lift much so i did real lytew8 and came home early tonite

    i wont fuck around with my shoulders..hindered the progress on almost all of my lifts because i tried going too heavy too fast

    i have no insurance so i cant even see a doctor :(

    Taking breaks helps me come back feeling refreshed and not fatigued but I've never come back stronger, it usually takes a week of lifting to get back to where I was.

    What did you do to your shoulder? I hurt my shoulder at the gym today during my chest/tri workout. I dunno if I hurt it over the weekend or what but during my 135 warmup it even hurt then and I just worked through the pain (probably wasnt a good idea). What did i do to myself, strain or pull a muscle in there? when will it get better? :noes:

    Sucks you got hurt, but taking a break once in a while is good for you.

    9 day break = lameness. I was weak.. but I think it had more to do with me being a bit under the weather, cutting (moreso today than other days for some reason) and a really long day at work.

    i hurt my shoulder decline benching and then me being a drunk tard tried to bench my 1rm at my friends house and hurt it even more.....
    well i found out i think i pulled my deltoid if thats possible b.c it hurts in that general area and i can not even lift 5 lbs for delt raises but the other arm i can do like 25lbs man im just gonna get rest and ice it until i feel better then start all over again
