not aware if this was caused by enemy fire/mines or if it was simply an accident, but either way it takes nothing away from their sacrifice.

    rip, and thank you

    completing OT cf crew :hs:

p.s. probably best discussing all other matters in another thread.

It was caused by a LAV III rolling over. Not enemy related or fire related, just accident while driving.

That sucks, my prayers go to them and their family.

We had a few Army guys get injured a few days ago when they launched an AT-4

Apparently they forgot to make sure the back blast area was all secure.

    Negative, sir.

Moving to france where I'm probably gonna marry my girlfriend (she's a native of Annecy, france). In 2007 after I've gotten my diploma and I can afford to give myself a tutor to pass the apptitude testing (my math is that bad) I'll be moving to Britain to join the Royal Marines. But a lot can change and who knows maybe I might come back here and enlist - depends if rules have changed because as is now, I can no longer try to enlist.

Wish our president made a personal statement every time a soldier died.

    RIP Pte Woodfield :(

An Ocdt died here in Kingston last night as well. Not sure what happened but it was just an accident on Fort Henry hill I think.
