Just wondering how important it is to change the spark plug wires on a car (01 accord) and what a decent pair would be. My car has 48k miles on it right now -- the plugs have been changed but the wires haven't

If it's a V6 it has coil packs. So I will assume this is a 4cyl.. I would go ahead and replace the plug wires, distributor cap, and rotor while you are at it. Just good preventative maint. and it shouldn't be that expensive. I would suggest using Honda OEM parts for everything as they should be pretty competitive to those of aftermarket companies yet better quality. If you decide to go aftermarket at least buy NGK plug wires. The cheap plug wires break when you go to pull them out. Had it happen on more than one occasion. For some of the best prices check out Majestic http://www.hondaautomotiveparts.com/auto/jsp/mws/catdisplay.jsp?inputstate=4&catcgry1=Accord&catcgry2=2001&catcgry3=4DR+EX+LEATHER&catcgry4=KA4AT&catcgry5==
